Before You Book

Please be aware that flower preservation is a handcrafted process using real, natural flowers. While every care is taken to preserve your flowers as beautifully as possible, we cannot guarantee that flowers will retain their exact original colour, shade or appearance during the preservation and resin-casting process.

Some flowers may naturally darken or change tone during drying and casting. White and very pale flowers are particularly susceptible to slight yellowing, browning or becoming more cream in colour. The heat naturally generated while resin cures can also contribute to subtle colour changes.

Small variations, natural markings, bubbles and other minor imperfections may also occur. These are characteristic of individually handcrafted resin pieces containing natural materials and should not be compared with the uniform finish of mass-manufactured products.

Examples of our completed preservation work can be found throughout our gallery and social media. We strongly recommend reviewing these examples before booking so you have a realistic expectation of the finish and natural colour variations that can occur.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept the natural variations associated with flower preservation and resin casting. Minor colour changes or characteristics inherent to the handmade preservation process are not considered faults in the finished piece.

Every Flower is Unique

Below are some examples of potential characteristics that can occur during the flower preservation and resin-casting process. This does not mean that any or all of these will be present in your finished piece. However, as we are working with delicate natural materials and often have only one opportunity to preserve your sentimental flowers, slight variations can occasionally occur as part of the handcrafted process.

Before booking, please ensure you are comfortable with these possibilities and understand that they are a natural part of the preservation process.

White Flower Tone

White and pale flowers may naturally develop warmer cream, ivory or yellow tones during preservation and casting. This is partially due to the temperature of mixture and room temperature required whilst setting.

Petal Transparency

Some petals may become slightly translucent when encapsulated in resin, particularly thinner or more delicate varieties.

Minature Bubbles

Tiny air bubbles can occasionally form around petals and flowers during casting and may remain visible in the finished piece. Anything large will be drilled out and re-cast.
